Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 10 Most Uplifting Moments

Despite every wonderful, moving moment to ever grace Buffy the Vampire Slayer, nothing can quite top Season Three's prom, in which Buffy is presented with a ceremonial umbrella and is proclaimed the "Class Protector" of Sunnydale High.

Watching Jonathan (Danny Strong) get on stage - just episodes after Buffy saved him from committing suicide - and give a sweet speech about how important she is to the school will warm your heart unlike anything else the show has ever hit you with.

As her friends look on, proud and teary-eyed, Buffy walks through her adoring crowd and accepts the award with a massive, infectious smile on her face, finally getting the recognition she deserves for her years of fighting evil and saving lives.

This is all capped off by Angel turning up to surprise her for a dance, making this entire episode the most moving and uplifting in the entire series.
