9. Where Do We Go From Here?
The final major song of the episode, this one should be higher but misses out simply because we don't get to see it all. What we do see however is deeply troubling, as our heroes sing all the words the audience want to scream. They may have beat the bad guy, but the repercussions of all that has been revealed means that the gang are dismayed and broken.
It gets strong marks for Anthony Stewart Head's fantastic voice, which cuts through most of the song, and for allowing the gang to interact as one unit before the mayhem of the following episodes. Hearing it, we can't help but feel the palpable tension amongst the gang, and it isn't fun to watch the characters have such feelings amongst each other. For that reason, it sits here on our rankings.
And despite the dreary tone, it does get bonus points for Spike realising he doesn't have to sing anymore and walking out with a blunt, "Bugger this."
