Casting HBO's Green Lantern Corps

A lot of Harris' work across his career has seen him play the villain, but that isn't without good reason - as he is insanely talented at doing so. One doesn't have to look much beyond his very recent role in the last two Mission Impossible films to find that this is the case, yet just glancing at his other performances will evidence his expertise in playing such an archetype.

Compared to the likes of the Joker, Sinestro is somewhat obscure. His arc (being a Green Lantern, mentoring Jordan and then creating the yellow lantern corps) is well-known enough however, so his next on-screen appearance could skip straight to him being a villain, which would provide Harris with a great foundation for his talents.

Though, if it were shown, Harris would be more than able to sell the character's downfall too.
