Crisis On Infinite Earths: 8 Biggest Questions We Have After Parts 1 - 3
1. Will Oliver Be The One To Slay The Anti-Monitor?
Oliver Queen's early death in 'Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 1' was a major curveball that left fans in a genuine state of disbelief. However, that merely set the stage for a long and unwinding journey for his daughter Mia and John Constantine who, with the help of Barry Allen, Sara Lance and John Diggle, all attempted to bring him back by retrieving his soul (you know... after dipping him in the Lazarus Pit).
That came to fruition in the latest episode when a trip to Purgatory reunited Oliver's soul with his body - that is, until he was confronted by the Spectre himself, Jim Corrigan, who told him that he must become his successor as the ghoulish figure in order to save the multiverse. And this was a fate that Oliver willingly accepted without question.
Fans of DC Comics will know that The Spectre is an incredibly powerful entity more than capable of going toe-to-toe with the Anti-Monitor, so you can bet that we're all excited at the possibility of seeing it happen. In the case of the pair's showdown, it isn't an 'if they square of' but merely a 'when'. The question is: Can the former Emerald Archer defeat the Crisis' Big Bad?
The Monitor foresaw a different kind of sacrifice for Oliver than the one that unfolded in 'Part 1', maybe this is it. Maybe he is the key to stopping the Crisis.
