Curb Your Enthusiasm: 10 Funniest Susie Moments

6. The Painting – Side Sitting (Season 10, Episode 2)

In spite of their many quarrels, Larry and Susie are still friends. Well, to a certain extent! Being in the same social circle for more than twenty years will inevitably lead to some acts of kindness and affection, however irregular these gestures may be.

With this in mind, it came as a shock to Susie when Larry presented her with a birthday gift. To confuse matters more, the gift was surprisingly impressive. Whilst a large portrait painting of yourself may be deemed to be a bit excessive for some people, the egotistical Susie is infatuated by the extraordinary work of art. Susie proclaims that Larry is forgiven for all he has done and they lived in harmony for the rest of time... wait, that's not right.

Jeff is understandably angry at Larry for the difficult predicament that has now fallen upon him, with the expectation of a superior gift being near impossible. But Jeff need not worry, as in typical Larry fashion, the painting is soon ruined by an unfortunate meal-related incident. Susie is not happy. The painting never had a chance in the world of Curb and it does not take long for the "prized possession" of the Greene household to be completely destroyed, much to the dismay of Susie.
