Daredevil: 10 Issues That Season 2 Needs To Fix

4. More Law

The Daredevil team did a great job negotiating an interest balance between the lawyer-ing and the crimefighting, something the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie never managed to do. For one thing, it felt like the people behind the show actually cared about Foggy and Matt navigating the choppy waters of the American legal system together. Still, the fact remains that the show, towards the end of the season 1 run, leaned more heavily in favour of the action, to the point where it didn't seem like Matt Murdock wasn't going into work at all and that the Nelson & Murdock legal practice had become a bit of an irrelevance. This changed when the pair in the end took down Wilson Fisk through the proper legal channels, but Nelson & Murdock scoring its first win felt like a bit of an afterthought by that point. The show's creatives could do worse than make the legal law and order part seem a bit more essential for season 2. After all, if Matt Murdock can just solve all his problems beating people up, then what's the point in having a legal practice in the first place?
