13. This Isn't Your City

Ah, hello again Claire Temple, nurse to The Defenders. There was just a very brief scene of Claire in the first trailer, in which she actually seemed to be defending Matt's actions, but here it looks as though the opposite is happening. As he says that the city needs him, she snaps back that "this isn't your city anymore." It's perhaps yet another example of someone close to Matt trying to convince him to stop being Daredevil, or a sign of how much Hell's Kitchen has been taken over by the new threats, either the Yakuza, the Hand, or the Punisher (or some combination of them all). It'll be interesting to see just how big a role Claire has in Season 2. She's going to be moving around Netflix's Marvel shows, so the chances are she won't be too grounded in one series, so we may have to get used to seeing a lot less of her than we did in the first season.
