5. What Happens?

The finale was all about Neron (quite literally) unleashing Hell on Earth, as he planned to channel humanity's fear of magical creatures and use it to open a portal that would free all the souls trapped in the underworld. The Legends, of course, had other ideas as they opened Heyworld in a bid to show everyone that dragons and ogres aren't so bad after all.

As this all took place, Nora Darhk arrived in Hell (having been sent there by Gary Green in last week's penultimate episode) and successfully managed to rescue both John Constantine and the soul of Ray Palmer (who was currently possessed by Neron).

Despite encountering numerous bumps along the way, the Legends' plan was a resounding success as, in the end, love conquered fear, Neron was defeated and humans and magical creatures lived in peace and harmony together (for now, at least).

However, the results of that plan had consequences and, although some of them had silver linings, all of them were game-changing.
