Okay, so youre probably thinking Im completely wrong right now. And, really, I kind of am. Because the writers will obviously have to tie this one up. What I am pretty certain about, however, is that they wont do it well. I can tell you right now how this scenario is 99% likely to play out: Dexter and Deb will clean up the crime scene hurriedly. Over the first two episodes they will clear up loose ends and gently curb the suspicions of Miami Metro. By episode five, her death will be completely forgotten and the final straws that bring Dexter down will come into play. It sounds pretty stupid. Youd think LaGuertas death would be important in carrying us through to Dexters downfall. But I doubt that it will end up having much to do with it. Remember when we all thought Louis was going to be a major thorn in Dexters side throughout season seven? Yeah, me too.
