Disenchantment Part 2: 10 Best Moments
7. Bean Gets Burned
The season finale sees Bean burnt at the stake for her alleged assassination attempt on King Zog, along with Elfo and Luci. Aside from the general spectacle of the burning, there's a hell of a lot to unpack too.
First off, Stan freeing the three of them from their cell is a nice callback to Bean's connection with Bunty. Due to the much faster pace this time around, Bunty's role was severely reduced so it's nice to see she's still an important part of the show and its story.
Though we've been aware of it for most of the season, we also see Luci confessing to Bean and Elfo that he's no longer immortal, and in fact traded in his eternal life in order to save them. Luci doesn't really do emotional moments, but Part Two has thrown a few more his way this time around.
Dagmar saving them from their fate sets up Season Two brilliantly, and calls into question how much control Dagmar has had over the events of this half season in general. Just before the floor gives way, we can briefly see Dagmar's face in the flames, suggesting mysticism will be crucial going forward.
