How could the Karen Gillan cameo not be the most beautiful part of the episode? What's wonderful though, is that it completes a circle. She was the first face for him, but to her, he was an imaginary friend. She exists in the past, having adventures with her imaginary Raggedy Doctor, and he can't see her anymore. But likewise, he's now a thing of the past too. She's his imaginary friend. "Goodnight, Raggedy man" ends the fairytale for the both of them. Times, as the Doctor says, change. But wouldn't it be fantastic... absolutely fantastic... if the Doctor's Twelfth incarnation was Scottish because he was thinking about Amy when he regenerated?
