When Doctor Who is fantastic, it's inspiring, heart-racing, and perhaps most importantly of all, it's thought-provoking. That's the sign of great art, isn't it? Something that not only draws you back often for consistent repeat viewings, but something that makes you wonder, long after the television's switched off or over. We all have our theories, our wild speculation, and our crazy "What if that turned out to be true?" ideas about the show. But what about those questions that will probably
never be answered? Questions about the Ninth Doctor that are long buried with the regeneration, or questions about the Time War that have now been answered? Well, here's to all those "What if"s that we might never find out about. Some of it's clearly coincidence, some of it's fabricated nonsense that will never be canon, and yet some of it is rather wonderfully unexplained. Yes, it would be nice if Moffat answered everything at Christmas perfectly, bows tied neatly around story arcs.
