7. He's Nothing Like Malcolm Tucker

Unsurprising this one, but apparently, Peter Capaldi won't actually swear as the Doctor. Moffat has referred to the promo shot of Capaldi with his hand to his lips and claimed that he can only picture him as the Doctor in that shot; apparently, we're going to see a character a million miles away from the spin doctor of The Thick of It then. Will the Twelfth Doctor even be as dark as we're making out? Is that simply fuelled by the idea that he'll curse at the Daleks in thick Scottish swear words and banish Clara from the TARDIS for being too soppy? We all knew he would be different. We all hoped he would be different, for the sake of the kids who watch the show. Speculating on the Tucker connection is a good excuse to play the trailer though, isn't it?
