They're a favourite of Matt Smith's era, having appeared four times now, and they'll definitely make a fifth in Series 8, according to the BBC. What's more, is that 2014 will see the team wielding their own sonic devices to rival the Doctor's, designed by trusty Blue Peter winners. If you're not aware of Blue Peter's Who involvement, it's the show that brought you both the Absorbaloff, and the console that Idris and the Doctor built in 'The Doctor's Wife'. So mixed results there. The Paternoster Gang will probably be among the familiar faces there to help ease in the transition of the new Doctor. Could we see an opening episode set in Victorian London, then?
