Doctor Who: 10 Huge Moffat Plot Twists That Pose Bigger Questions

7. The Doctor And Clara Escape The Timestream

...Which leads me onto another question posed in 'The Name of the Doctor': how did the Doctor and Clara go from the darkened valleys of his timestream, populated with his former selves, to a few months later? Surely Clara couldn't have studied for a PGCE teaching qualification in such a short period of time. The teaching aside, there's another story in there somewhere, surely €“ what about a minisode where we see how they escaped? It's a question that led a lot of us scratching our heads at the start of 'The Day of the Doctor' and it's, again, something that could really develop the relationship between Clara and the Doctor. So much of what they talk about €“ the Doctor always talks about "the day he did it" €“ Clara sometimes asks him what he dreams about - is offscreen. Why doesn't Moffat change that? It would've given us a chance to know that much more about the character, but it's been sadly missed out.
