Doctor Who: 10 Huge Moffat Plot Twists That Pose Bigger Questions

5. Amy And Rory's Divorce

Okay, this is one that we'll never get an answer to. But just why did Amy and Rory get so close to divorce? It took them three to five minutes locked in an alien asylum to sort their differences, on their own; did they never talk about their problems before that? What gives Rory the right to throw his two thousand-year wait in Amy's face as proof that he loves her more? Can Amy not have kids because it's too mentally traumatic after last time? Or is there a medical reason? Again, for the sake of character development, it would've been nicer if 'Pond Life' had dedicated more time to these questions, and less time to the Ponds walking in on an Ood in their bathroom. Or, Moffat could've done away with breaking up the companions altogether, if it was only going to exist as a storyline for that one episode before never being mentioned again.
