10. The Headless Monks Reference

Before we first met the Headless Monks €“ and guessed that this must be how Jack Harkness becomes the Face of Boe €“ Steven Moffat dropped the tiniest of clues about the Battle of Demon's Run. Whilst looking through a museum with Amy and trying to find a home box, the Doctor mentions that this is the final resting place of the Headless Monks. Not only was this a whole series before we even met the foe, Moffat also mentions that this is the Delirium Archive; the Singing Towers of Delirium would be where the Doctor and River would have their last date. The universe really does feel like a small place when the Doctor drops these clues, but we welcome hints of what's to come in his future. We're still waiting for a trip to Villengard though, where the bananas are grown.
