6. The Werewolf Mirrors Rose

It's one of the most iconic moments in New Who: Rose one side of the wall, the Doctor the other, separated by a parallel world, and yet somehow acting as if they could still feel each other's presences. We should have seen the tearjerker coming however, as in 'Tooth and Claw', the exact same scene took place. Only this time, Rose was replaced by a werewolf: is that a reference to another kind of wolf perhaps? Whether it was intentional or not, we'll probably never know. It was a fantastic piece of direction though, and a lovely way to hint at the finale.
