4. The Missing TV Stories Redone
With so many of the First Doctor's original TV stories missing from the BBC archives perhaps the time is right to look into revisiting them. Not necessarily slavish full recreations, but with a few tweaks here and there the idea could work whether as a full series or simply a sort of feature length 'Doctors Revisited'-ish series. Curious viewers will have revelled in the chance to see both 'An Unearthly Child' and 'The Aztecs' in full thanks to BBC Four and Watch, and with 'An Adventure In Space And Time' possibly having awakened yet more intrigue it might not be such a bad idea. It was perhaps something of an own goal not to have included the Bradley interpretation of the First in 'The Day Of The Doctor', as it could have served purpose by way of an introduction to him for the new-Whovians. Most of them are far too young to have seen him in action on that fateful day in 1963... Of course, there have been references made to him in the newer series which could also be expanded upon. We could see him acquiring that library card as seen in 'The Vampires Of Venice' and his first visit to Akhaten as possible additions to any series of revisits. Add to that the fact there's three full series worth of potential source material from the Hartnell years and you've got quite a brew if its handled correctly, by our reckoning.
