10. Coal Hill School Has A Very Long History Of Alien Invaders But No One Has Noticed

This week, the Skovoz Blitzer rampaged through the corridors of Coal Hill School, blasting doors, hunting down staff members and generally causing all levels of havok. Given that the school was filled with pupils, parents and staff for parent's evening, the entire event went by completely ignored by all but the two teachers and a very Scottish caretaker with angry eyebrows. Though perhaps it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. Coal Hill School has a history of alien encounters. The Doctor's own granddaughter Susan attended the school back in 1963 before vanishing with two teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright. In the same year, an alien vessel landed in the playground and two rival Dalek vessels battled it out in the corridors with only the Seventh Doctor and Ace to stop them. Yet to date we've seen no reference to those events. Perhaps it's the role of the school's governor - one I Chesterton - to keep alien events out of the eye of Coal Hill's staff and students. However, there's one teacher that appears to be clued up, as revealed in this episode...
