2. Some New Loose Ends

I know, I know, with my apparent obsession with solving overarching questions, why do I want some more to worry about? Well, because that€™s exactly what great television needs. If this show is going to keep going for many more years, the Doctor will need some more difficult stuff to get on with solving. Which will of course create something else for us to theorise about. The circle of Whovian life. Perhaps a villain we don€™t know could be lurking in the background, or a renegade Time Lord could stow away in the TARDIS? Even something as simple as someone seeing a Silent (then forgetting about it) could be a nice little tease of things to come. Whatever it is, and having (hopefully) negotiated the angry internet troll minefield of the multi-Doctor anniversary episode successfully, this a great opportunity for Moffat to lay some seeds for what€™s to come. Considering that this episode is sure to get massive ratings, a good tease for the next series is a great opportunity to try and hook some new regular viewers in for next year. Before Series 8 though, we have one more thing to think about€
