This one's by Chameleon Circuit member Ed Blann - more commonly known as Eddplant - as part of his collection of solo Trock material. Each of his songs focus on one specific incarnation of the Doctor, and "(He's Not a) Junkyard Weirdo" focuses on the first. It gets back to the basics and uses an upbeat tempo to focus on why we came to love the Doctor in the first place; "he's not a junkyard weirdo, he's not a stubborn clown". Indeed he is not. Eddplant sings from the perspective of the Doctor's devoted granddaughter Susan, and this adoring point of view is emphasised with the line "He's a timelord hero and he's never let me down". It's easy to picture Susan singing this to Ian and Barbara, who were at first very wary of the Doctor. It's easy to see why - on face value he was just a junkyard weirdo, but as this song points out (and as fans of the show know very well) he's much more than that. I love this track as it is especially useful in convincing reluctant friends, siblings or parents why the show is so awesome and why they should definitely watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbnyZruZbRM
