doctor who peter capaldi As soon as a new Doctor is cast, there is one topic of conversation that stands proudly above any other. You thought the hair was of critical importance? Oh you poor misguided soul, you know nothing. Nothing! This vital discussion really brings out the Trinny and Susannah in every Doctor Who fan. We all have an opinion, from hats to scarves, frock coats to suitable footwear for winter filming. Yes, just what will the new outfit be? Capaldi in a fedora? Maybe not. The costume is the look, and it defines every Doctor, imprinting a recognisable image onto the public consciousness. It€™ll be interesting to see what route he goes down, Capaldi is a fan boy and certainly knows his Doctor Who, so may already have an idea for his look. Maybe something completely different and out of left-field is necessary now to spice things up? But he should be weary. You only have to look at poor Colin Baker€™s technicolor dream coat disaster to see how it could all go so very wrong...
