Doctor Who: 5 Good Things About Day Of The Doctor (And 5 Bad)

1. It Leads To Three Redemptive Regenerations

The Time Of The Doctor After the three Doctors leave The National Gallery, it is assumed that each of the Great Men are heading off to their well-earned new faces. At the end of Day of The Doctor, we partially see War Doctor going through his Regeneration. In 10's timeline, this event fits in right before The End Of Time, and in 11's timeline he will be regenerating in The Time of The Doctor. All three regenerations, though sad events, can also be seen as exciting changes for each Doctor. As they now have the burden of destroying Gallifrey off of their shoulders, the three Doctors are ready to start over without this traumatic event on their personal records. The Doctor has now earned the right to let himself stop worrying about what never happened, and get back to being just a little more excited about his travels, and that can only be a good thing, right? In addition to his work at What Culture, Mr. Reyes writes for Cocktails and Movies, as well as his own personal blogs Mr. Controversy and The Bookish Kind. On top of that, he's also got a couple Short Stories and Novels in various states of completion, like any good writer worth their salt. He resides in New Jersey, and compiles his work from all publications on his Facebook page.
