Doctor Who: 5 Reasons Eleven's Regeneration Will Be Incredibly Heartbreaking

1. It€™s Our First Regeneration!

Okay, so maybe not in Britain, but throughout the world, Doctor Who has picked up many viewers in the past three years during Matt€™s era. Hopefully people have watched The Parting of Ways and The End of Time, but this is the first time viewers will actually be watching a regeneration with no idea what to expect and no one to say €œWatch out! This part€™s sad!€ Though, a tip: I doubt there will be many parts that won€™t be sad. It€™s scary and sad and wonderful all at the same time to be witnessing the first regeneration. I expect to watch it and sob and yell and cry some more and do what all of the people from Britain who judge us for coming so late to the party have done for so long. Also the people that have just started watching it have a bond with Eleven because he was the Doctor they started watching live with everyone else. Whether or not you like Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant more, no one can deny that for some reason, the fact that Matt Smith was the Doctor we all clamored to watch on BBC, BBCA or however people have watched it, gives it even more sentimentality. Obviously none of the previous points have made me any less excited to see The Time of the Doctor on Christmas Day, in fact I€™m more excited for Christmas than I have been in awhile. I€™ll be sitting there, wearing my Doctor Who shirt and sonic screwdriver(s), saying goodbye to The Raggedy Doctor, and saying hello to a new Doctor. I can€™t wait.

I'm currently attending my local college while trying to figure out who I am. I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, really any BBC show. I've also been told I'm a bit of a nerd. Specifically, a theatre nerd.
