5. Suspense
There is no doubt that these episodes will most likely be suspenseful scary, even because thats what Wheatley is known for, ergo, that's what will be expected of him. He cant go all out and make thrillers like he has film, but he can bring back the scary aspects that Old Whovians (and by that, I mean Old Who fans not Whovians who are old!) always talk about, and how they often would watch the episodes from behind their couch. I understand a bit, I watched Fives regeneration into Six, and even though the effects were nothing like what we have today, it was still scary and had me closing the youtube window. That kind of scariness, a kind of scariness that makes someone in 2013 afraid of an episode that aired in the 1970s is purely the director. Its how the director makes the scene, and how he explains the actors to portray the scene. And Ben Wheatley one of Britains top directors is going to be amazing at telling Capaldi how to make the scene the scariest it can be. These two episodes could be something the likes of New Who could never seen. Weve never had a purely scary episode, even when scary monsters were around, we had comic relief from the Doctor, and it doesnt sound like comic relief is on anyones mind for these two episodes.
