Some Whovians are despairing at what Steven Moffat is doing to the Sontarans. Strax is the resident joke of Doctor Who, they claim, and that the monsters have no fright factor; and that's without taking to account their ridiculous appearance in 'The Time of the Doctor'. One option for Moffat would be to give Strax a choice between the Paternoster Gang and his own people. He's been recording various secret messages and sending them back home, so he obviously still keeps in contact; if they were to return out of the blue, who would he choose? Would they swear revenge on him for associating with humans? This is a minisode that would bring back a returning villain, potentially set up a Series 8 story and give the Paternoster Gang more screen time. Those messages he's relaying to space must be leading to something, surely? Likelihood: 6/10
