Look at the Scottish jokes Moffat snuck in with Amy--and that was just with a Scottish companion. Imagine the field day he'll have with a Scottish doctor. There'll be cracks about Glasgow, and Edinburgh, and are there other Scottish cities? Joke! There'll be pronunciation mockery from Clara, and then he'll mock her Lancashire accent right back. The first few scenes will be FULL of this stuff. Everyone will want to know why he sounds like that. He'll be confused, then he'll be angry. Strax will compliment the accent, and this will make everyone worried. Clara will mock it, Vastra will express concern, and the Doctor will yell at everyone and go to his room. It'll be fun.
