2. Am I A Good Man? Episode 1
BBCThis scene has been at the forefront of most Series 8 trailers so far and, if the promotional material is accurate, it will be one of the moments that are at the heart of Deep Breath and play a huge part in defining the Twelfth Doctor. Spoiler-free reviews of the episode after the advance screening in Cardiff have indicated that its a scene from towards the end of the episode that comes after the Doctor does something incredibly cold but pragmatic to save the day. If that is the case, its definitely going to be an interesting scene as it will be the Doctor examining what the Regeneration has done to him psychologically, possibly for the first time It looks set to be a moment of serious introspection for the Doctor. Even though hes finished Regenerating, hes still not sure who he is and could be having an identity crisis of sorts. It also looks like it will be a significant character moment for the Clara as well the Doctor since her response of I dont know speaks volumes for the impact that the Regeneration will have on her. It definitely seems like one of the longer and more dramatic scenes that Peter Capaldi has spoken about, and it will be an interesting departure to see a much more low-key moment with a newly Regenerated Doctor in comparison to the much more energetic scenes we saw with the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors.
