Doctor Who: 10 Best Companion Outfits

2. Sarah Jane In Hand of Fear

SarahJaneHandOfFear Although it's not one of my favorite outfits, the light red striped overalls with the red shirt worn by Sarah in the Hand of Fear is extremely popular by a vast majority of fans. I don't know if it's especially because it was her last episode, so it's somewhat an iconic outfit, or just because it's one of those fun outfits that actually makes Sarah look rather young. The length of her hair has changed drastically since she first appeared in The Time Warrior. It shows just how long she had been on the show for. It's an outfit you wouldn't see done in today's Doctor Who, that's for sure. But it works for Elisabeth Sladen, because she will always be our Sarah Jane and any outfit looks great on her. This is one of those outfits that make an appearance at conventions as well. You may see one or two different versions of Sarah, but then there is always two or three of the Hand of Fear Sarah Jane. As a costumer, and someone who loves costuming in general, I always take note of the outfits that I see at conventions, and which companions tend to be acknowledged. Most of these have been seen, except for Peri and Rose. I have seen everything else recreated.

I am a sales associate by day, and 3D artist and writer at night. I have a passion for Doctor Who, especially the Fifth Doctor era. I go to conventions when I have the funds, and I also make costumes on my spare time.
