Doctor Who: 10 Best Davros Stories

9. The Curse Of Davros (2012)

Audiobook The Curse of Davros is a story with a terrific premise: Set during the Battle of Waterloo, Davros and the Daleks hatch a plan to swap the minds of humans and Daleks to help Napoleon win the war against the Duke of Wellington and the English, thus rewriting the course of human history. Not only that, but Davros swaps bodies with the Sixth Doctor!

It's an insane plot synopsis that somehow works brilliantly as it nails the historical elements down, even with its portrayals of the Duke of Wellington and Napoleon. But the concept of Doctor and Davros swapping minds is especially the best aspect about the story with both having to adopt each other's personas in order to maintain the deception. This also allows the opportunity for Colin Baker and Terry Molloy to approach their roles differently and both give very memorable performances that need to be heard to be believed.
