Doctor Who: 10 Best Davros Stories
8. The Juggernauts (2005)
The Juggernauts sees Davros in an interesting yet fascinating new light. Hiding from the Daleks, Davros takes on the guise of 'Professor Vaso', a jovial scientist on human colony of Lethe and teacher to Sixth Doctor companion Mel. However, the Doctor himself is actually sent to Lethe by the Daleks themselves to investigate what Davros is planning next, which just so happens to involve the Mechanoids, last seen in 1965's The Chase.
This is an exciting story that perfectly expands upon the scheming, manipulative side to Davros' character as seen in Revelation of the Daleks. As he's putting on a face of honesty and goodwill towards the fellow staff at the Lethe colony, he sneakily dispatches them one by one as part of his 'Juggernaut' project that involves combing human remains with the technological shells of Mechanoids. When it comes to creating new dangerous lifeforms, Davros never fails to amaze!
