the empty day The episode that introduced us to Jack Harkness also bore witness to one of the most bone chilling lines of dialogue ever produced in the show; €œAre you my mummy?€ Gas mask faced zombie child! We're not sleeping without the light on. Killed by a fallen medical transport which then reconstructed his body, the remnants of a little boys consciousness walks the streets of wartime London looking for its mummy. The kid has the power to ring phones pre-mobile era without any concern for his talk time expiring or need it be said, a phone. He can control electronics and smash through doors and walls if aggravated. But worse than all of that, if he touches you, you become just like him. By the end of the episode, the child has his own army of Zombie gas mask people at his command all trying to find mummy. Great one off enemy. One of the ones that really stands out. But not the winner€ Best Quote: €œAre you my mummy?€ Appearances: €œThe Empty Child€
