Doctor Who: 10 Big Questions After Death In Heaven
8. Is The Brigadyberman Still Out There?
A fun little question to ponder. One of the most touching moments of Death In Heaven was its ability to bring back a dead character - once played by the Nicholas Courtney - in a way that paid tribute to the Brigadier and still weave him into the plot. Resurrected along with the rest of humanity into a Cyberman, the Brigadier saved his daughter Kate from the exploding UNIT plane and shot Missy, ending the threat for all. Putting logic aside - he obviously had his emotions and didn't die along with the rest of the Cyberman threat - where does the Brigadier go now? Does he finally die for good? Or is he out in the far reaches of space, saving people from enemy threats in his Cyber armour? We last saw the 'Brigadyberman' flying off into the skies after receiving that long-overdue salute from the Doctor. Is that the last we have seen from him? Probably. But it might be fun to ponder his new lease of life too!
