6. Why Didn't Clara Recognise Missy As The Woman Who gave Her The Doctors Phone Number?

One of the big mysteries of the series, going all the way back to series seven's The Bells Of St John, is the identity of the woman who gave Clara the Doctor's telephone number. The revelation wasn't particularly shocking, not after Missy claimed she chose Clara well in Flatline, but it certainly resolved that long dangling threat from the days of the Eleventh Doctor. Though Missy giving Clara the Doctor's number also raises one big question - why didn't Clara recognise her when they met in the W3 Institute in Dark Water? Missy isn't a character that blends in with her surroundings. Given the fact that the Twelfth Doctor and Clara have discussed that 'woman' recently, something should have clicked last week. Perhaps Missy was in disguise; you could imagine her grinning malevolently as she set up the control freak with the Doctor who doesn€™t like to be controlled.
