Doctor Who: 10 Billie Piper Songs That Are Basically About Rose

9. Officially Yours

This one ties in nicely with the last point because Rose Tyler's dream to get a mortgage with the Doctor finally came true for her in the Series 4 finale. After a catastrophic showdown with Davros and the Daleks in The Stolen Earth/Journey's End two parter, the Tenth Doctor dropped Rose back off on her parallel world to live happily ever after with his half human, half Time Lord metacrisis counterpart. It's a long story but he basically poured his regeneration energies into his handy spare hand which somehow spawned a clone version which had human DNA after being touched (no, not like that...) by Donna Noble. But let's focus on the romantic elements of it because they're much more satisfying. And so, here Rose was back on Bad Wolf Bay with her whole life ahead of her to spend with the man of dreams. She'd waited a long time to get back to him and even she probably wasn't expecting to get something so permanent but that's Doctor Who for you in a nutshell. You never know what's around the corner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmY1BXUXRvw If you want to read up on how Rose and 10.5 are getting on look no further than the interwebs where there are plenty of fan fictions to satisfy your imaginations (some more so than others). Let's just hope they're doing alright, though, and that their life of domesticated drama hasn't led to an untimely separation. Like Billie says in Officially Yours, "don't you worry, I'm gonna treat you right, no situation, no need to fuss and fight, oh no..." Beautiful stuff. It's still a better love story than Twilight.
