5. Day And Night
"All of the day, all of the night, you do the things, that make me feel so right..." OK, so perhaps that's a little too risqué for the pre-watershed confines of a Saturday night family teatime drama and what the human Doctor and Rose get up to in their privacy of their own home has nothing to do with us, thank you very much. Let's make it a bit more P.C and say that it's referring to the fact that, day and night, Rose will always be thinking about the Doctor. That's much more romantic isn't it? It was quite literally the case, too. After being separated from him in Doomsday he called out to her in her dreams (it's never really explained how he did but it was cute nonetheless) and she responded to it by making her family drive her hundreds and hundreds of miles, across the water, to a secluded beach in Norway. As you do. It was another example of the whole 'don't forget to remember' thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9LjOQVBFmA Rose relied on her family to always be there for her, even if she rarely returned the favour, and it would've been great if they'd turned around and told her that enough was enough and forced her to make her own way to Dårlig Ulv-Stranden after failing to acknowledge their existence for the last two years. They'd never do that, though, since Doctor Who is a show that teaches its viewers the importance of family values. Perhaps Rose could've taken something away from the lesson, too.
