Doctor Who: 10 Craziest Methods Ever Used To Beat A Dalek

10. Drag One In To A Fire With Rope (The Evil Of The Daleks)

The Evil of the Daleks was a Second Doctor adventure from 1967 in which the Daleks drafted the Doctor into helping to give them the "Human Factor" (the essence of what distinguishes humans from other species) in order to make their race invincible. The Doctor appeared to be collaborating with the Daleks, but actually had a few tricks up his sleeve as usual. At one point, when a country house had been overrun with Daleks, the Doctor's companion Jamie McCrimmon and a mute Turkish muscle-man named Kemel - a man employed by Theodore Maxtible, a servant of the Daleks - used some rope to simply drag one of them into a lit fireplace, which somehow defeated it.
