9. The Doctor Meets The Captain
Now, Steven Moffat knew how sassy the Ninth Doctor was so he probably thought it would be even better to add just a little bit more to the mix in the form of Captain Jack Harkness. They are like two teenagers trying to see who's better (at pretty much everything) but at its heart it's a bromance that continues, even when the Doctor changes his appearance. Its fitting that the Doctor should have a friend that provides friendly conflict in the TARDIS as it shows different perspectives of both characters.
