8. Making An Entrance

Viewers of the show love watching the introduction of each new Doctor and this time it was extra special. The regeneration from Doctor 8 to Doctor 9 was not televised (at this point, at least) so wondering when the Doctor would pop up for the first time was an exciting prospect in itself. With Rose ambushed by the Autons, the audience finally get to see the Ninth Doctor in all his glory as they rushed alongside them both and jumped head first into into the action. People who have watched the entrance of the Ninth Doctor will possibly remember his entrance as a piece of television history as the titular Time Lord jumped back onto television screens after his overly long absence. It was fierce and intense from the start of the scene to the end. Much like the Ninth Doctor's era as a whole, really.
