Doctor Who: 10 Defining Moments Of The Ninth Doctor
4. Dining With Monsters
Having a meal sounds great. Having a meal with an enemy... sounds a bit shifty. Not for the Ninth Doctor, though. In Boom Town he takes one of his enemies out for her last meal and does it out of compassion more than anything. He's giving her a 'death sentence' but still wants to make sure she goes out in comfort. During this meal, the Doctor probably wasn't thinking about sentencing her - he was probably planning a way to give her a second chance, as that is something the Doctor would do. In a sense, he knows how she's feeling. Its a moment to be admired, from both sides of the table.
