5. Is Jenny, The Doctor's Daughter, Still Alive?
Sticking with the Tenth Doctor's era for a moment, here's another enigma surrounding the Doctor's family. Season 4's 'The Doctor's Daughter' did what it says on the tin and introduced Jenny, the Doctor's female clone who is referred to as his daughter. After a strained beginning to their relationship, the pair bond and the Doctor is crushed when she is apparently shot dead.
Unbeknownst to him, however, Jenny is resurrected (via regeneration or the terraforming device, it's not clear) and flies off to see the stars, much like her dad. There was a lot of promise for the character and fans subsequently expected her to return every season... except she never did. Thankfully, Big Finish's recent audio spin-off Jenny, The Doctor's Daughter finally continued her adventures.
But where is Jenny in the current timeline of the show? If they are both rolling around the universe she is bound to bump into her dad - sorry, mum - again at some point. As it stands, though, the Doctor still doesn't know that she's alive - which is a bit tragic.
