7. "Today I Shall Be Talking To You Through The Square Window"
Right after employing her "Hey Missy" theme song (which is of course a play on Toni Basil's "Mickey"), Missy's head goes 3-D and says "today I shall be talking to you through the square window."
You would be forgiven for thinking this is just another instance of Missy being "bananas", but actually she is quoting a catchphrase from the vintage kids' series Play School. Although when the presenters of that show said it they didn't then stick their head through the screen. That would have terrified the children.
For some reason, the Master has long had a fixation with British children's TV, with Roger Delgado's incarnation watching The Clangers in The Sea Devils and John Simm's Master marveling at The Teletubbies in The Sound Of Drums ("now that is evolution"). In last year's Death In Heaven, Missy even said "I love the telly here."
