Doctor Who: 10 Fictional Characters The Doctor Should Meet

5. The Teletubbies

If Doctor Who can have a planet made up of giant ants and butterfly men then a voyage to the planet of the Teletubbies should be entirely acceptable, too. What's more, the Teletubbies world is more realistic than many Who worlds such as Lakertya, for example. The Tubbie planet is in the grip of the tyrannical living baby sun, a relative of the one seen in The Rings of Akhaten. Using only the power of his sonic screwdriver, the innards of the Nou Nou and a rousing sing song, the Doctor frees Teletubbies land from the evil sun, while taking his turn to wear the skirt. Toast and tubbie custard are then served while the Doctor makes the Tubbies handbag dimensional transcendental. Po becomes the new companion who must face the harsh realities of life outside Tubbieland. What an arc Po would embark on - it would rival anything Donna or Clara went through! It€™d win a Hugo.
