2: Its the end of the world, Not the end of courtesy Harriet Jones; MP for Flydale North
She never actually said that out loud of course, but actions do speak louder than words, dont they. So picture it; youre trapped in the cabinet room in Downing Street with no escape, Slitheen are breathing down your neck, theres no way out and the world may be ending at any moment. That is still no excuse not to correct someone when they pass the port in the wrong direction. Which wouldnt be as funny as it is if it wasnt for Penelope Wiltons delivery. Its not a knee-jerk reaction sort of comment, and neither is it a serious change of direction in the conversation. Its a firm but polite reminder that simply because one is being savaged by baby-faced fart monsters, one still does not forget ones manners. The fact that they spend the rest of the episode quietly drinking the port while they deal with the issue at hand just makes me love the moment more.
