Doctor Who: 10 Most-Viewed Scenes On YouTube Ranked Worst To Best

9. The Wooden Lady (Knock Knock)

Now this is an odd one. While it's a solid episode, you won't exactly find Knock Knock near the top of anyone's favourites list, so it's quite strange to see that a scene from the episode is one of the most-viewed Doctor Who clips on YouTube.

This particular scene is the moment where the mystery of the Wooden Lady is finally made clear. We learn that she is actually the Landlord's mother, and that the Landlord has been luring innocent people to the house in order to prolong her life, keeping her trapped in this wooden state. Upon learning this truth, the Wooden Lady kills both herself and her son, while the Doctor and Bill watch on in horror.

Again, it's strange that this scene has so many views because the episode is hardly regarded as a classic, and at the same time, it's also nowhere near as bad as Love & Monsters, so it doesn't have that morbid curiosity factor to drive clicks either.

Still, it's wonderfully acted - particularly by David Suchet as the Landlord - and the makeup/effects used to bring the Wooden Lady to life are absolutely incredible, so it's definitely a worthwhile scene to revisit from time to time.
