Doctor Who: 10 Of Rory's Roriest Moments

4. Punching The Doctor! Right In His Face!

See, he really could take the Doctor down a peg. Even before Rory was punching old Harry Hitler in the mush, he was socking a certain Time Lord on the jaw instead. In one of the most powerful moments from Series 5's climactic two-part finale, The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang, Rory is devastated over what his Auton programming made him do to his beloved Amy. Upon releasing the Doctor from the Pandorica, Rory begs him to save her but the Doctor, in an unusually callous manner, rebuffs his pleas, stating that "your girlfriend isn't more important the whole universe". It's then that we first glimpse Rory's super saiyan form. His devastation manifests itself in throwing a punch at the Doctor and proudly proclaiming "She is to me!". Moving stuff. Naturally, after this the Doctor reveals his reticence was all a ploy to shake Rory back into his less murder-y and more loving state, thus enabling the two of them to go about the business of saving the entire universe and the only woman more important than all of it. What a BAMF.
