Doctor Who: 10 Reasons Shona McCullough Should Be A New Companion

9. Her Bravery

Well, when was the last time you entered a room full of dream-dwelling crabs? Thought so. Shona did it with her bravery and humour still intact and she handled the whole situation rather well, didn't she? It was all a dream, of course, so there's always the chance this version was handling the situation somewhat better than her real life counterpart would, but that's not to say she still doesn't have what it takes to face the foray of formidable foes that the real world would have to offer. If Doctor Who has taught us anything, it's not to underestimate anyone or anything. After all, even the most experienced of companions are allowed to scream sometimes. Clara Oswald let out a rather rapturous one in this very episode, in fact, but she was being attacked by a rather horrifying alien menace at the time. It happens to the best of us.
