Doctor Who: 10 Reasons The Doctor Should Never Be A Woman

10. It's A Wibbly-Wobbly Mess

First things first. A female Doctor is genetically impossible. If anyone has the slightest idea of genetics (or biology in general), it€™s quite obvious that the impression of the Doctor suddenly regenerating into a female Doctor is daft. It€™s almost the same as saying that human beings can evolve into whales just because they€™re the same class of organisms (they€™re both mammals, in case you€™re wondering)! All that aside, if the Doctor had to be female, he would€™ve been born female. If fans are to assume him living, they are also to assume that he€™s got a chromosomal pattern in his body, namely a single code that defines him as a specific gender, a.k.a. male. Since it€™s a sci-fi show, it€™s doubtful that the writers would go ahead and introduce him as female with the risk of bending countless rules of science and making up arbitrary stuff as they go, which honestly deviates from the entire idea of it, meaning he simply cannot switch back and forth between genders.
