9. Where The Heck Do We Get The Classes?

Now, this is strictly about the televised viewing which will be broadcast in both 3D and 2D. British viewers may be able to acquire the glasses locally, but that doesnt help the shows global fanbase. Doctor Who may be a cultural phenomenon in the UK, but its become bigger than that. Americans, Australians, New Zealanders and more have embraced the show wholeheartedly and the BBC knows this. When Series 6 premiered, they desperately tried to court American audiences by sending the cast and Steven Moffat across the continent for interviews and publicity events. Heck, even the Series 7 premiere had a special showing in New York. To their credit, it did pay off- the premieres had the highest ratings BBC America had even seen. They didnt even have to rely on big advertisers to get notice. But therein lays the problem. The glasses have to be distributed somewhere. Where are we going to get them? Subway? Radio Shack? Steal them from the movie theater? Its really not worth the effort, and the 3D broadcast probably wont get as many views as the BBC would like, which would be serious egg on their corporate face for a special showing of their flagship program.
